It has been too long since my last Wear This/Drink That post! I’ve recently been sipping on a lot of Viniq Shimmery Liqueur which inspired me to pair two of my favorite things – shimmering martinis and shimmering eyeshadow! If you aren’t already familiar with Viniq I suggest you try some ASAP. It’s a delicious combination of premium vodka, moscato, natural fruit flavors, and one-of-a-kind shimmer. It’s basically a concoction of everything I love and it literally dances with shimmer when you pour it. It looks divine in a cocktail glass by itself, but it also plays well with others. I love both variations I’ve tried (Viniq Original and Viniq Ruby) so expect to see even more on this delicious treat soon! In the meantime, read on for my latest product and cocktail pairing. Cheers!
Wear This: Stila Magnificent Metals Eyeshadow
This highly pigmented eyeshadow packs a serious amount of metallic shimmer and stays put for hours. I first fell in love with it many moons ago at the Betsey Johnson SS13 show at NYFW (#throwback!) and have yet to find a new shimmer I love as much (aside from Viniq of course). 😉
Drink That: Viniq Shimmer-Tini
Ingredients:
2 oz. Viniq
2 oz. cranberry juice
1 oz. New Amsterdam® Peach Vodka
2 dashes of bitters
Mint sprig, lime wedge, berries
Instructions:
Pour all into a tall glass, stir thoroughly, add ice, stir again and garnish with a mint sprig, a lime wedge and berries. Final step: Feel fabulous and fantastic while drinking!
