Remember how much I adore Birchbox? I just received the latest box full of new beauty discoveries – delivered straight to my doorstep. I am thrilled to share with you the goodies I discovered in the October edition of the beauty box.
If you missed my first gush-fest on this innovative concept, let me introduce you to the brand. Launched in 2010, Birchbox personalizes ways to discover, learn about, and buy the best beauty, grooming and lifestyle products. This is an ultra-hydrating crease-control concealer that disguises imperfections as it hydrates. The inner core is packed with highly pigmented concealer while the outer rim is filled with vitamin E and apple seed extract to keep the skin looking supple and not cakey. The versatile product is available in three shades and can even be used as a highlight or contour color, not just as an under eye concealer.
I fell in love with the texture of the Aqua Lacquer by POP Beauty. It is a non-tacky gloss that delivers brilliant shine and beautiful subtle color. The Flowering Fuchsia shade is a beautiful hot pink that packs a goop-free punch on your pout. Love it!
Serious Skincare® Glycolic Gommage Extreme Renewal
I am extremely picky when it comes to skincare, but I’m delighted to share that this Serious Skincare facial product is serious about meeting its product claims! It’s packed with Glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that penetrates the skin and weakens the lipids that contribute to the build up of dead skin cells, as well as malic and phytic acids, which reduce hyperpigmentation and inflammation. It smoothes and softens the look of the skin’s surface, helping your skin look younger after just one application.
ChapStick Hydration Lock in Vanilla Crème
This new offering from ChapStick is actually one of the bonus Birchbox Finds – a mainstream product extra product added to the usual samples. I definitely agree with Birchbox’s love of this new innovation from ChapStick. Clinically proven to hydrate lips, the eight-hour balm also comes packed with antioxidant CoQ10 and healing vitamin E. It’s amazing for hydrating bare lips – or wear it under your fave lippie for the perfect primer.
Supergoop!® City Sunscreen Serum
