It’s no secret that my vibrant red hair comes from a bottle. As my fellow redheads know, the struggle is real. Red fades faster than any other shade due to the size of the red color molecules. My favorite product from the system is the new Nexxus Color Assure Pre-Wash Primer, a pre-treatment designed to shield hair in the shower. It helps to repel water, so color stays longer and more vibrant. The Pre-Wash Primer is sulfate-free and infused with a blend of clear oils, including almond, coconut and argan oil.
The almond oil works to lock in moisture, nourish hair and reduce breakage while coconut oil provides softness and elasticity. The Argan oil gives an extra boost by improving shine and vibrancy. This combo is like a veil of protection from evil color suckers.
It’s super easy to use as well! Before you shower, just apply 5-7 pumps to dry hair, starting at the ends and working up to the root. Apply enough so that hair is soft and silky, but not saturated. (If your hands are greasy after applying the Primer, then you have applied too much.) A little goes a long way!
