Obsession of the Day: JeNu Active Youth Skincare System

I was delighted when the awesome beauty/fashion site SheFinds asked me to help them test out JeNu Active Youth Skincare System, a new anti-aging system.

The kit contains a trio of anti-aging breakthroughs including a professional quality ultrasound wand, as well as an eye treatment and a lip treatment, both infused with advanced microsphere technology. It also comes with a usb charger to make charging the ultrasound wand a cinch.

I’m automatically skeptical of at home devices just because something in me is just programmed to think that machines in a professional setting are better. JeNu seriously changed my mind! I tested out the wand and treatment on my lips first and was very impressed.

The added fullness of my lips was almost instant. When I started using the system, my lips were actually really chapped from running around in the cold (and not drinking enough water even though I know better) in New York. I played damage control with JeNu  and after one session the chappedness went away and my lips were supple and full. They continued to look that way even hours after the application. I used it religiously for about a week so far and have seen a dramatic difference in the volume of my lips.

I was also impressed with the eye treatment. I’m 26 years old, so I’m not going to sit here and claim I have terrible wrinkles. I don’t. But I do have dryness and some lines underneath my eye area. JeNu helped to eliminate the dryness and soften the lines around my eyes for a brighter appearance. I do plan to continue using it as a preventative anti-aging measure because I was pleased with the results.
