I launched Martinis and Mascara four years ago at a time when I was on a quest to discover how to transform my puny lashes. They had literally fallen out due to stress and I was on a mission to find the best way to bring them back to life. (In case you missed it – the best thing to do is treat them with Latisse, decorate with a killer mascara, and strategically place eyeshadow around the lash line to create the illusion of a full set.)
Over the years I’ve tested and reviewed a TON of products, but it takes a seriously high quality mascara to earn blog placement. It’s in the title after all, so if I’m endorsing a mascara it’s because I truly love it and it has passed the Martinis and Mascara test.
I’m happy to share that Benefit’s mascaras check all of my boxes! (Big thanks to my friends at Benefit for sending me a giant version of one of my favs to help me celebrate Martinis and Mascara’s anniversary in a big way!)
Read on for my ode to my favorite Benefit mascaras and definitely try these babies out if you haven’t yet…
They’re Real Lengthening Mascara
This long-lasting mascara provides bigger, bolder lashes in a variety of shades. I adore the Beyond Blue shade and love to sport it on my bottom lashes in the springtime (or whenever I want a bright pop of color). The specially designed molded rubber brush offers serious control and effortless application, allowing you to coat all of those hard to reach lashes. It’s one of the classics that remain in makeup kit on a regular basis.
BADgal Lash Volumizing Mascara
This is the perfect smoldering mascara to pair with a smokey eye. The thick black formula a little more flexible than my other two Benefit favs, so it has more of a soft feel. It’s super sexy especially when combined with a blended set of smokey grays and black shadows. Keep this one on deck for your next night out!
Last but certainly not least, Benefit Roller Lash Curling Mascara quickly skyrocketed to the top of my favorites list soon after its release last year. Roller Lash is now is my everyday go-to mascara. It does an incredible job of lifting and curling to really open up the eye and make your peepers pop. The “hook ‘n roll” molded brush separates while the formula coats lashes for up to 12 hours. It is perfection.

Katie, What do you use to remove Benefit mascara? I love They’re Real and Roller Lash (especially together!) but I’m still taking it off when I wash my face the next day!
