Where have you been all my life, ColourPop?! I am so thrilled that the fabulous folks at this company reached out to me to review their eye shadows. I instantly fell in love with their colorful branding and cheeky product names… but the real fun came when I tested out the product. I’m pleased as punch to reveal that these shadows are just as high in quality as they are high in fun! The texture is heavenly – super soft and easy to blend. The best part? They are literally only $5 a pop. Vivid pigments at rock bottom prices! This is the kind of shade you will want to throw over and over again, honey. Here are a handful of my absolute favorite colors:
Tassel
Tassel is the ultimate highlight shade. It’s a bright true white with some serious multidimensional glitter. Love love love.
Dare
Dare to go big or go home! I adore this bright neon purple. It is packed with flecks of hot pink and violet glitter. Perfect for a fun night out if you aren’t afraid of a little color!
Ibiza
I love me some turquoise. Ibiza is infused with a silver and gold duo chrome finish. SO pretty. It makes me feel like a mermaid and anything that makes me feel like a mermaid is pretty much my favorite thing ever. Truth.
Get Lucky
Get Lucky is the perfect gold for your makeup kit. It is an intense, super brilliant, super metallic, liquid-like gold. Love. It also pairs well with my next fav, On The Rocks.
On the Rocks
On the Rocks is a vibrant true bronze with gold and violet glitter. Like I mentioned, it looks beautiful with Get Lucky, but it also blends well with other brights like Ibiza and Dare. This versatile shade is a keeper.
Ratchet
This is the black you want for that late-night-out-at-the-club type smokey eye. It’s a rich black doused with some serious silver glitter and speckled hints of pink glitter. Ultra vamp, ultra-glam. It’s very Fangtasia. (Confession: I’m binge watching True Blood while blogging again.) But seriously, Ratchet is perfection. Don’t let the name fool you. 😉
