In my other life (aka before I decided to devote every moment to blogging) I was very involved in the theater, both on stage and off.
I still do stage makeup for shows when I can and am always happy to make faces behind the scenes. So, I have a serious soft spot in my heart for all things theatrical. This is also why I squealed with delight when I heard about the collaboration between Inglot cosmetics and the award winning Broadway musical, Pippin!
Pippin is the perfect show for Inglot’s debut as it has a colorful cast and story, which Inglot is also known for. Launching with this partnership will be an exclusive Pippin inspired Inglot color collection that will be sold on inglotusa.com and in Inglot boutiques around the world. The look of the collection helps the stage come to life and consists of Body Sparkles #56, AMC Pure Pigments #19, AMC Eyeliner Gel #95, Liquid Eyeliner #25, Eyelash #49s, Sparkling Dust, Freedom System Eyeshadow in #155 and #426, Lipstick #180 and #212.
Pippin, the story of a Royal heir who is spurred on by a mysterious group of performers to embark on a death-defying journey, is the recipient of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in addition to a slew of other awards. Patina Miller is currently starring in it on Broadway. Girl can SANG.
The show is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street, New York, NY). Put on your best Inglot face and go see it if you can!
