Martinis and Mascara is a lifestyle blog devoted to beauty, booze, fashion, food, and fun written by award-winning blogger Katie McBroom.

Martinis and Mascara gained national recognition when Katie was selected as a finalist in Allure Magazine’s 2013 Beauty Blogger Awards. She eluded elimination in all five rounds of the contest and was ultimately dubbed the Most Buzzworthy Blogger of the Year for producing the most viral content across multiple social media platforms.

Since then, she’s garnered media attention in multiple publications including Refinery 29, Buzzfeed, NewBeauty, Health, and Seventeen. Babble selected Katie as one of the 10 best beauty bloggers in the prestigious Babble 100. Katie was also dubbed one of the “5 beauty bloggers you need to follow” by Giuliana Rancic’s FabFitFun and chosen as one of Lucky Magazine’s New Voices of Beauty.

Prior to launching Martinis and Mascara, Katie reviewed beauty products as a member of the Palm Beach Post‘s Gal Friday Product Panel for over five years. Her work has also appeared in publications including The Huffington Post.
