I may reside in the great state of New York now, but I spent over two decades of my life drinking the sea air in the Palm Beaches. Lilly Pulitzer is a Palm Beach icon and a brand I truly admire, so I was thrilled to hear about the colorful collaboration with Target, which officially launched this morning (and already broke the internet).

Twitter erupted when the #LillyForTarget collab was announced with an onslaught of elitist tweets from Lily fans disapproving of the partnership. This could be my inner basic talking (I am admittedly guilty of loving Pumpkin Spice Lattes and idolizing Carrie Bradshaw), but I think there is nothing wrong with making fashion accessible for the average woman. So there.

With a collection of 250 resort-inspired pieces, you’ve never seen so many ways to dress yourself in head-to-toe Lilly!
