To channel her modern trendy look, I contoured my skin using the Cover Up Pro sticks, set it with Mineral Pressed Powder, and dusted on Honey Bun blush for a little color. I applied mascara and false lashes, but did not add any eyeshadow. The star of this look is really the lipstick – which is perfectly on trend. I used Orange Love lipstick to steal her look. Pair this trendy look with a dress in a bold solid color like cobalt blue to really add a high fashion kick!

Katy Perry takes color to a whole new level. Unafraid to make a loud statement, Katy often pairs a bright lip with a colorful eye. She makes her own rules and I love it! Punching up her look to one step beyond traditional trends is what she does best. To do the same, I really focused on the eyes and the lips with this look. To make sure my eyeshadow stayed on flawlessly, I applied Eyeshadow Primer before starting the rest. I then lined my top lid with Jumbo Eye Pencil in Bikini Time and my inner rim with Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pool Party. I decorated my lids with purple and green shades from the Haute 16 Color Eyeshadow Palette. To pack a big punch with my pout, I applied lipstick in Vivid Pink. To continue the colorful statement theme in the rest of your outfit, don’t be afraid to wear something loud. I channeled my inner Katy Perry with a hot pink polka dot dress. Go big or go home! 😉
