Happy summer, martini lovers! Friday marked the summer solstice, so in honor of the official start of the season I’m presenting one of my summer kit essentials: Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream.
I have to be honest – I am not usually a fan of BB Creams for my own personal use. My pale acneic skin is usually hiding behind a layer of full coverage foundation. #Truth. Needless to say, the lightweight moisturizing wonders that are BB Creams usually don’t meet my coverage standards.
Enter Kiehl’s BB Cream, the answer to my prayers! I’ve used quite a few different brands, all with their own textures and tones, and this is honestly one of my favorites. The formula utilizes natural mineral pigments to conceal flaws beautifully. It’s lightweight, but provides buildable coverage. It’s also packed with Vitamin C and broad spectrum UV filters to protect against the sun’s harmful rays. The ingredient list does not include any parabens, fragrances, silicone, or mineral oil. It’s great for those with sensitive skin or fair skinned gals like me who burn easily. Wear this and your hydrated, healthy skin will thank you!
I’ve had some serious skin issues with BB creams {think rashes}, but this might actually be a viable option for me! Love the name of your blog, by the way!
